Through joint systematic problem reflection, among other things on examples of classic positions in the history of philosophy, students are enabled to contextualise, understand, and evaluate their own thinking and actions as well as those of others.
The aims of philosophy education are a better understanding of the world, a better understanding of our actions and of ourselves. It thus makes an important contribution to independent thinking and to the development of critical thinking. The subject is interdisciplinary in content and can thereby support all other secondary school subjects in Grades 1 and 2 both academically and cross-curricular.
