If you are considering submitting an application to repeat a grade for your child, we strongly recommend first a counseling discussion with the responsible department head or with the class teacher. For grades 5-7, Ms. Köchlin (brigitte.koechlin@bsfb.hamburg.de) is responsible; for grades 8-10, Mr. Essen (ulf.essen@bsfb.hamburg.de).
An application to repeat a class must always be submitted in writing and requires a special form (see sample), which you will receive from the department head. All applications for a class repetition must be received at our school office by May 31, 2026!
