ZaG- This is our student newspaper; more precisely, this abbreviation stands for: Zeitung am GyRa! This newspaper is a part of our school, it is accessible to everyone and there is something for everyone. In five different sections there are interesting articles, the latest from our school as well as puzzles, funny quotes from teachers, reports and much more.
The Sections:
What’sup?! – Here you will always find the latest from Gymnasium Rahlstedt, our events and a very special page: What’s going on with…? Here we write about what a well-known person at our school, from whom we hadn’t heard for a long time, is up to now, or also about what our teachers do in their free time. But the current development of the school can also be put under the lens here.
KuLi – stands for Kultur and Lifestyle. Book recommendations, film reviews, tasty recipes and a (sometimes critical) look at everything that influences our lives can be read here.
City & World – In this section, we write about everything that happens in our city, Hamburg, and about news from all over the world. Additionally there are travel reports from great parts of our world.
Wissen – In the Knowledge category of our magazine we write biographies of notable people, articles about historical topics, about nature and humanity.
Kleine Pause – Here you will find small things for in-between, such as surveys, quotes from teachers, trivial knowledge and the latest comic related to the issue's theme.
The editorial team meets on Wednesdays at 15:40 by the computer rooms to diligently work on the articles and to design the magazine. If all this has sparked your interest, you can buy our newspaper in the atrium and above all send us your ideas or join us from 5th grade onward!!!
