Dear members, dear alumni,
The school, marking its 100th anniversary last year, now celebrates with a year’s delay due to Corona on Friday, July 1, 2022, a large school festival under the motto “100+1 years Gymnasium Rahlstedt | yesterday – today – tomorrow”.
As in 2019, an alumni celebration will take place in the school’s dining hall in the evening as part of the festival, to which the association herewith warmly invites you.
The festival begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be officially opened at 7:00 p.m. with a welcome by the school principal Mr. Frankenfeld. Subsequently, the association will support a coming-together of the different graduating classes with an accompanying program. Refreshments with drinks and food will be organized in cooperation with the school. The end is planned for around 11:00 p.m.

Throughout the day, many activities of the classes and the parents of the students are planned on the school grounds. The school administration invites all interested to participate starting in the afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

Dear Alumni,
another exceptional year is slowly coming to an end, and Christmas and the turn of the year are once again just around the corner.
Even this year it became clear that the most beautiful gift cannot be wrapped in wrapping paper: health in times of a global pandemic.
Our alumni association has continued to be somewhat restricted in its activities. Nevertheless, we used the infection-light late summer for a coronally compliant ordinary general meeting.
The link to the protocol of this meeting is shown further below.
To continue our work in the interest of alumni culture and the school, we will — as in every year — in December collect the membership fee for the year 2021. This will happen in the coming days. The membership fee for our association was raised by the General Meeting according to TOP 4 of the agenda to a minimum annual contribution of 15 euros (see protocol).
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a good start into a hopefully more normal year 2022 in which we can, as planned by the school, celebrate the school’s 100th birthday again on July 1, 2022.

Note on the accounts:
Gerd Püttjer has compiled the accounts for the years 2016 to 2020 with all required documents and submitted them to the two elected auditors Bärbel Schulz and Dr. Andreas Gedaschko on May 4, 2021. Both examined the accounts and found them in order on May 11. At the ordinary General Meeting on September 23 they were presented to all present members. Members whose email addresses are known to the association have received the accounts for information as a PDF document. All other members can send an email to the address ehemalige@gymnasium-rahlstedt.de and will receive the accounts in response.
