The deforestation of the Amazon in the Environment Committee, protection of refugees worldwide in the Human Rights Council or the situation in Syria in the Security Council – these are only three of the globally significant topics for which 16 male and female students of our Internationality profile at the Model United Nations Conference at Nyborg Gymnasium / Denmark („MUNNY“) sought solutions. After intensive preparations in the preceding weeks, our delegates debate from Thursday to Sunday with students from other schools and represent the view of the country assigned to them beforehand. All in English and of course in compliance with the official dress code!

In addition to intense debates, a lot of diplomacy, and the search for compromises in the style of the “real” United Nations, the fun of course must not be left out. Thus there is the opportunity to make international acquaintances and an MUN party on Saturday must of course not be missing.
