Arguing with one another, listening to each other, and convincingly presenting an opinion – the 9th grades again impressively demonstrated that this year as well when on January 28, 2025 it was time: ‚Youth Debates‘ at GyRa! 

The jury sent, after a qualifying and a final debate, our two school winners Yasminka Alahmad (9e) and Fiona Korth (9c) on to the joint final at Gymnasium Dörpsweg. 

There Fiona could look forward on February 17 after two bravely mastered preliminary rounds to a great fourth place in the final debate. Now her path leads to Hamburg City Hall, where on April 2 the big state competition will take place. We also wish you an exciting and instructive time at this event, dear Fiona!        

A big thank you for her special commitment goes to Julia Kolanowska (S2), Henrike Kirsten and Ronja Reinhardt (both 10a): The three students were active as jurors in both the school and the joint final. Great that you are so committed to this project!
