Anything that’s possible! Career at the company!

On June 4, 2025, the kickoff event with the career orientation fair of the three-part series “Alles was geht! Karriere im Betrieb!” took place at Gymnasium Rahlstedt for the second time.
There, around 30 companies from diverse sectors presented themselves to the 11th grade. The event offered the students, after a very motivating opening keynote by Marvin Grabowski, an excellent opportunity to learn about training and study opportunities, to make initial contacts, and to ask questions directly to professionals from practice.
From regional craft businesses such as Peter Jensen and the Chamber of Commerce to larger industrial companies like Aurubis and RWE, to medical facilities such as Asklepios Klinik – the variety reflected a broad spectrum of professional perspectives. The personal conversations at the stands and the hands-on experiences in the workshops, where the young people gained individual insights into different occupations and career paths, were particularly valued.
As the second part of the event series, on June 17 there will be company visits during which the companies and facilities can be explored on site.
We thank all participating companies as well as the organizers from the Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft für Hamburg und Schleswig-Holstein for this successful event, which has generated many new impulses for the vocational guidance of our students.
