Eleven students of our Internationality profile S2 (and two guests from other profiles) are currently taking part in the Model UN conference of John-Lennon-Gymnasium in Berlin-Mitte. The opening ceremony was held very ceremoniously at the French Embassy near the Brandenburg Gate – among other things with a speech by UNHCR spokesperson Chris Melzer.

Until Saturday, the participants will debate in the official MUN dress code in English about global challenges – from environmental justice to international security. Under the motto “Strengthening Collaborative Communication for Sustainable and Inclusive Progress” the question, more topical than ever, is at the center: How can international cooperation be strengthened?
