This year as well, our students have once again demonstrated their exceptional talent and dedication. After 25 students from the homework group qualified for the regional round in the current cycle of the Mathematics Olympiad, Hendrik from class 10b will now represent Gymnasium Rahlstedt at the state round. This traditionally takes place at the end of February at the Christianeum.
Hendrik is an experienced participant of the Mathematics Olympiad and a real stalwart of our school in this competition. For the sixth time he is taking part to demonstrate his mathematical abilities. Especially pleasing is that after his narrow exit last year he has this time surpassed the high score threshold. Hendrik is very excited about this opportunity and is well prepared.
Our youngest talents
Our youngest participants also delivered excellent results. However, due to the exceptionally high score threshold for the state round, some could not advance despite great results. We especially congratulate (from left to right): Jonas (6a), Emil (5d), Janto (5c), Dian (5f), Finn (7e) and Linus (5a). We also congratulate Niklas (5b) and Julius (5b), who are not pictured in the photo, on their impressive placements.
We are proud of all students who took on the challenge of the second round, and warmly congratulate them on their great performances. We wish Hendrik much success for the third round – fingers crossed!
