On 13.02.2025 the internal school fair “Forum Beruf & Studium” took place again, where students of grades 10-12 met a wide range of speakers to gain insights into today’s world of work. About 50 parents, alumni, partner companies and educational institutions were on hand to help the young people develop plans for their professional future in a relaxed atmosphere.
What can I expect from an apprenticeship or a dual study program? How does a journalist work? How does one build a career? What challenges do hospitals face today? In four discussion rounds these and other questions could be asked and information gathered about today’s challenges in different professions, career opportunities and diverse training paths. Whether one’s own ideas correspond to the professional reality was as evident as the reconciliation of one’s own strengths and interests with the respective field of work.
We sincerely thank everyone who helped energetically in preparation and execution and thus made this event possible, especially the speakers, students, colleagues, the janitorial staff, and especially the school office.
We are pleased that many of those involved would like to take part again at the next fair in two years.
